At Gira’s invitation, our team took part in the dragon boat race in Berlin-Grünau. Together with colleagues from the ECG network, we set off in a shared boat on the 210-metre course.
The key lesson learnt: without training, the only thing that counts on the water is perfect timing within the team. After a shaky start, the second run went much better and secured us a solid mid-table finish. Ultimately, though, it was all about having fun and socialising away from work.
