A defining element of the redesign of the entrance foyer in the Jannowitz Center building in Berlin-Mitte, directly on the Spree River, is the green wall.
As part of an extensive refurbishment project, we acted as general planner for the conversion and enlargement of the foyer of the 9-storey office building.
The natural wall greening not only enhances the place from an aesthetic point of view, but also makes a lasting contribution to improving the indoor climate. A total of more than 1.800 plants were installed at a height of more than 6 m. Thanks to an automatic irrigation system, they now shine in lush green and contribute to the well-being of the office tenants and foyer visitors.
